Guys, I have big respect for Kate. I go and visit her a day after the event and she looks and sounds totally normal, apart from walking around a bit slowly. After getting thrown over a car, it's like nothing happened.

Not like us blokes then

Thanks for all the comments guys! Not sure I feel normal but getting there, hopefully the nightmares will stop soon. Not sure how soon I'll be back on a bike as way too bruised to sit on one but as soon as possible I'll be back, though as a pillion with Joe until my bike is sorted.

The tomato plant is doing well! (I haven't killed it yet, but give me time).

Poor Joe has been a star looking after me and putting up with my complaining

Well, still hurt quite a bit but as long as I don't move too quickly nothing is jarred so easy does it I guess. Am trying to get an appointment at my doctors but its proving a mission in itself

I don't think the bike is a write off, I'm having a go at sticking pics below courtesy of Jambo and the general opinion is that its all fixable. Haven't had the official estimate yet though.

Hi Kate,

I would say the nightmares are perfectly normal, I know there not nice but its the old head's way of sorting this out for itself, I trained in psychology but I will spare you the psycho-bable.

Take your time, and it sounds like your being well looked after.

Sorry to see the bike like that, but you are far more important than the bike, despite how much we love our SV's!

Take care and my best wishes, and I hope you get a nice new shinny bike!

Rich
