Whoever wrote it thinks scotland ends at the forth/clyde valley Scotland gets better the further north you get, though the borders have many great roads. Quite Moffat-oriented

But still, it's a very good site. They could probably do with marking on the moffat/selkirk route "People keep dying on this one" though, it's a fantastic rollercoaster road but it needs to be treated with respect.

But while we're on the subject of "get your a**e up north, check out my sig if you've not already seen it None of the roads we're using are on the site as they're all further north, but the route's easily the match for anything on that site- the best is better and the worst is about as bad

That's the problem with having sigs turned off

Yeah it's meant to be a drive to motorcyclists saying 'you don't need to go up north' as they're more established routes up there. I just hope they keep it updated with new routes

that site rocks! Can't believe it's officially backed as well - so used to being made to feel unwelcome for having a bike/daring to ride it round the countryside

mind you the cynic in me wanders whether it's a trap to get all the bikers in one place to catch them with speed guns! I know how sneaky you Scots can be...
