Hi Kwak,

I have a silver K3 also. About 8 months ago whilst I was doing some advanced training my rear calliper lost a bolt. It must have come out due to the vibtrations?

It resulted in a severely scratched rear wheel, caused by the pad pivoting round the pin and catching on the rim. The calliper also took a bit of a beating and is well chipped. As I had ear plugs in the first i knew of it was when the back brake stopped working. Not handy on a training session .

My bike was still in warranty and I spoke to the dealer that I got it from and they were not interested at all even although they were the only ones to ever touch the bike......

Must have had a really thorough PDI....
No wonder they are no longer.....

Message to all, check your bolts!

Nop you are talking about the front two pot calipers, they are floating and only have pistons on one side of the caliper. Same on curvey & pointy.

The rear on the curvey is solid and does not move on the bracket at all, not sure about the pointy though.

On my curvey, before i changed to S/Steel, i found the bolts wouldn't torque but stretch and get slim in the middle and obviously longer

yep pointy has a floating caliper set up but then tsm you did put a pointy caliper on your curvy or is that like your gilles rear sets as for tightness stick to the torque settings or you will end up with a striped thread on the caliper mounting bracket
