first of all, mother manages to lose my 3 day old hilly running socks? there were on the table on thursday, ready for today, i looked everywhere,
so, i jump in the car and it -0.5 although it did not feel that cold, so i get to tescos car park (as the start is just around the corner, and yup, its poo time. anywho i get to the start in plenty of time.

i started off about half way in the pack, and straight away got overtook by about 10 people, one of which can only be discribed as an OAP,

anyway, i get into a nice rythem, and notice errrrr a "fit bird" in front of me, with a pair of skintight almost see through tights......... which was nice, so i stayed behind her enjoying the veiw.

at 3k i had enough of the veiw, upped the pace a bit, so i overtook her

at 4k i was discusted to be overtaken by a woman*

im waiting for the results to be put online, but i realy enjoyed it

got back and mother has still not found my socks

* the woman that overtook me was pushing a double buggy, with 2 young-uns in it,

the cardio kickboxing is hard work, im not sure on contact kickboxing,
It's non contact, I think they get the newbies up to some sort of standard before they start hitting each other. I'm just going to add 500m each run before my first lesson then reassess afterwards.

Why don't you also try incorporating fartlekking into your training. I think krhall might be better at explaining it than me though .

I hope you stretched off afterwards, you might pay for it later, you know tight calf muscles, shin splints etc..
