Default Re: Bike Tyres Leeds - free fitting on Michelin Tyres through Feb & March

Well I'm sticking with the Avon Storms on the pointy. Had a rear on for almost a year commuting every day and doing weekend blasts, and still had a fair amount of tread left, shame it got a nail slashed straight through the side at the weekend. But with longevity like that and the confidence in grip, I've gone and stuck another on.

You know, when you said it had a nail thru it I still thought of it as a new tyre...

However - they're currently doing free fitting and balancing through Feb & March "Michelin are paying for your fitting"

Used them once before, and the service was great. They even fitted proper bike tyre valves unlike woosters who used the longer car version (and I've also heard people complain that their rims have been damaged after using woosters)..

PR2's here I come

Bike tyres location & contact details
I've used BTL before and been happy, same as with Woosters. My Dad did have an issue with BTL a few years ago however, when they failed to refit a spacer on his then Fazer, meaning that a bearing went on the way to the TT, and he ended up having to borrow a bike so as not to miss the ferry. They were however very apologetic, and I seem to recall covered the cost of the repairs.

More to the point, the Nelli needs some new boots. Any suggestions for what would be a good fit for a 900 triple that is ridden as if by an old woman?
