Default CCC Cans. About to get more expensive

If anyone is considering buying CCC cans I spoke to them today to see if there was any way of getting a discount on a pair for an SV1000 and was told that they are actually about to put all their prices up. So if you want some, get them now.

Most (if not all) of their sales are through e-bay
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CARBON-CAN-CO

I had one on my SV650 and it was very nice indeed.

I appologise if this is the wrong forum. I'm sure a helpful mod will stick it somewhere else if I've got it wrong.

Cheers,
Mark

Hi

i have put tri oval titanium CCC on my sv1000 and they sound great.

Worth every penny to which was a lot less than most of the others i looked at - word of advice though when speaking to them thell them you have seen what you were looking for on ebay and try and quote a price. I did and they quoted me a cheaper price from two days earlier when i randomly rung them up about the same product!!!

Great company though, with excellent support

I think they are a great value can. Had one on my curvy, liked it so much I'm buying two more for my Thou.

I found it too harsh with the baffels out but that's down to personal choice. And the curvy definately breathes better with it on. I'm not claiming huge power increases, but the tick-over rose by 200 with the can on and a further 150 (+350 total) with the baffle out.

If you do want to take the baffle out you'll need a drill and something like a broom handle to wiggle it out. Do not try and use pliers/molegrips or you'll make it look a right mess.

Their web-site is not online at the moment, but when it was the shop prices are much higher than the ebay proces so always go for the ebay option. Nice touch is that the 650 can comes with a link short piece of link pipe so you can always refit the original can if you want to.

Helpful, friendly folk too.

Oh and you'll need hacksaw/anglegrinder/dremil and some brave pills to cut your original system off.

Wouldn't the exhausts section of the forum be more appropriate? Not that it really matters.

Just thought I'd stick it where it may actually get read

If anyone else has a thou and is looking for a really lairy exhaust I'll have a straight through 2 into 1 titanium high level M4 full race system in the for sale section soon. Start saving your pennies and warning your neighbours
