seat height (2003 and before)
I was under the impression that it was just the 2003 model that was higher. But having just read the model history page it says on there all models of 2003 or before have the higher seat. Is this correct?

No, the 2003 model was the first of the 'pointy' SV's. The seat on that was higher than on the previous 'curvy' model.
Suzuki then realised their error, and lowered the seat height again for later 'pointy' models.. Hope that helps

All the curvies I've sat on have been very low, and so is my K5, but I'm on tiptoes on my K3. The difference is very noticeable.
