Default Sometimes Mother Nature is amazing

Took a photo yesterday afternoon and have just taken a closer look at it. There, in the top left-hand corner, was this small part of the original image. Loads of colour for mid-February afternoon.

Absolutely no PhotoShopping whatsover. This is "as taken" other than cropping it out of the original photo

I know what you mean! This weather is bringing all the plants out. A walk in the woods this morning was glorious. Lovely pic Jabba, this is what I saw. It's taken with a compact camera through my binoculars. It was about 50 feet away. I have sharpened it a touch in Photoshop.

Those daffodils are out early, don't think I've ever seen them out at the same time as snowdrops! Great pic though.

What's a compact camera? Is it like a digital one? And I think that birdie is a Great Spotted Woodpecker, if I'm not mistaken

Compact camera is just my small, digi one that I have in my pocket nearly all the time. Fuji F31fd. It is a Greater Spotted, there were two or three of them in the woods, all drumming away!

There are loads of snowdrops, crocus and even some tete-a-tete daffodils out around here, spring has sprung, the grass is riz!

Ah thankyou, what I thought! Would make sense I've never thought to take a pic through binoculars, I think I shall experiment now
