Default Prices / Suppliers /

I've decided that, rather than get into debt buying a new KTM Duke, I'm going to keep the SV and spend a few quid getting it into shape. I've had a (very) quick flick round the net and come up with this as a starter -

Forks springs (Ohlins) - JHS Racing £72
Brake lines (HEL) - JHS Racing £70
Hugger - Pyramid £80
Tyres / Paddock stand bobbins - haven't decided
Rear shoc (Ebay) - cheap as poss
Tax disc holder - Demon Tweeks 99p !!!!!

Are these prices good or bad ? Do you have better choices or prices for any of these ? As usual, all suggestions welcomed !!!!

Watch for huggers on ebay, picked up a brand new powerbronze delivered for £48 as the owner hadn't fitted it and was selling the bike.

Rest of the prices look pretty reasonable.

Only thing I'd add is I've got Pilot Sports on my bike, rear is needing replaced NOW and can't have done 3,000 miles yet...

They were great in the wet though (from what I can tell, still very much a novice rider).

me too in the novice catagory.
i hope to get more out of the back than 3000, but i had to get new tyres & they came recommended. combined with the price reduction, i could not resist.

Hel lines off of Ebay are far cheaper.

Pointy or curvy?

Red Fox carbon look hugger around 55 quid for a curvy. Well made and good fitting.

Sounds a reasonable price for the springs. Does that include the oil too?

Have fun tarting up your Sv. We have!
