Whats it worth? - SV650.org

Hi guys, its been a long time since ive posted since selling my curvey, but after a year of Triumph ownership i 'might' be coming back to a SV.

one of my mates is selling a T reg '99 SV650S. 33'000 on the clock, scottoiler, scorpion can, in blue (i know red ones are faster) its clean ish, not as clean as my old on was, but begger cant be choosers.

whats it worth?

1400 aslong as servicing has been kept up to date, MOT is a few months away aswell as tax, and was a mechanically sound bike. I by no means have a clue what I am talking about, but would be prepared to pay that if I could afford it.

If servicing been kept upto date,and its got six months each mot and tax between 1100 and 1400 max.

i wouldnt really pay much more than 1200 ish for it!

I'd have to agree with that, I'm looking at buying a second curvy and this is the value that keeps cropping up. As a previous owner you can really inspect the bike, you'll know what to look for.

Try and get all the OEM stuff for it too, for resale.

With the amount of curvys for sale with half that mileage i wouldn't pay over ?1k.
