The Wire

it can't be just me that's completely obsessed with The Wire.

I mean the smartest thing on television thus far must have been noticed by some of you right?

So I got the first 4 box sets and the soundtrack CD, but the 5th season has just started on FX...

I couldn't wait so I watched it online... I am so weak...

Now it's over and I have nothing... Nothing!!

Oh well just have to watch Generation Kill now...

The Shield is better....

the Wire rules. Waiting for the final season on DVD - Best thing on TV imo etc...- it's like watching life go past.

No way, the shield spoon feeds you. The Wire makes you find stuff out for yourself. In the shield they discuss stuff and share the info, briefing you as the story unfolds. In the Wire you have to take the journey and find things out at the same speed as the characters, if you have what it takes.

Im watching Season 1 now courtesy of the local bittorrent...

Season 1 is great, it's what made me want to watch the rest of them.

Season 5 was brilliant. It's not one of those series that just stop when they get cancelled, it actually has an end and not the fluffy happy ever after ending. The Wire doesn't do that. It takes you to the streets and shows you the game, you feel me?
