I suppose the weight of the controller would matter. Not really the accuracy of the controller, but more the ability to maintain fine motor control over sustained periods.

Basically, the heavier controller will put more stress on the various muscles used to swing it around (but being 20g it won't be that much) and this will lead to aches & pains quicker.

However, because of the heavier controller, if the same person uses that controller all the time, then they will adapt to it, and be able to last longer than the other player should they swap over controllers.

So, swings & roundabouts really I reckon.

It's not really a great comparison doing it that way. The problem with the Wii controllers is that they put strain on your wrists (ok, so it's not really a problem & more of a benefit as it helps to build muscles).

The controller that's 20g heavier, will be more difficult to keep moving around, and put more strain on the wrists of whomever holds it, when compared to the lighter controller.

When playing for a long time, watch the person with the heaviest controller, I bet they'll start comlaining of aching wrists. When they whinge, tell them to shut up about it as it's building more muscle (no pain no gain), and will eventually lead to them being able to last longer playing on the Wii.

As they will be able to play continuously for longer, they'll be more familiar with the game(s) and their fine motor control will be improved.

Now they've decided its the make of battery that makes the weight difference they've got the scales out

Copper coloured top - v- film for camera

and the results are:

40 grams - v - 20 grams

so does that means being ginger topped has an advantage over polaroid pictures

I guess they will be checkin their power supplies more thoroughly from now on
