Now I did it quite a few times on the CBR and that bike helped me a lot to learn loads of stuff.
But, the SV is a lickle different. Do I need to get the fairing off and attack from the right to get at the front clamp that connects the carbs to the top of the engine? The back is easy to get to, I just can't get to the front... Got no Haynes and the really (i thought) helpful manuals that someone left on here a while ago doesn't really detail things for me*... *I'm a dumbass so things have to be in bold writing and made clear with pretty pictures... |

hi plowsie...
im sure ur mechanical knowleadge is far greater than mine, however i have got at the carbs recently..... i personally didnt remove any of the fairing... i used a long (about 12 inches) phillips screwdriver (*2) to get at the screw on the clamp that holds the carbs on (from the right if ur sitting on the bike) and this worked fine...bit fiddly gettin back on but ok.... good luck! |

Thought it may just be a hassly job like that, thought the fairing may not make much difference. Cheers Dappa
