Question lifting tank?

i'm servicing the sv this weekend, how do you take off the seat to raise the tank?

Pointy or curvy?

Curvy you need to undo the allen bolt at the bottom corner of the black infill panels, can leave the pop rivet in its place and just swing the panels out to get to the bolts holding the seat down. Then undo the allen bolts either side of the seat, and bobs yer uncle.

Two side covers need to be removed, then you can see the two bolts holding the seat down. Simply remove them and the seat will lift off (front first).

Remove the two bolts at the front of the tank behind the yoke and remove the tank prop from under the rear seat, the rest is common sense....

undo the 2 black sidepannels, to get to the seat bolts

2 allen keys are needed

only one side panel, the other is not there! keep forgetting to get a new one
