I had a Hindle on my 99SV650 and it sounded a lot like this one... perhaps not quite as loud on the rev up... but this is pretty much the sound I am looking for in a system
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fH81...eature=related Can anyone tell me what other systems sound like this in person? I am also wondering if there is something different between the 99-02 bikes and the 2nd generation ones... the pipes always seem a touch deeper pitched on the curvey ones when I see the videos Edit: I found out after the fact that they have hidden tags saying it is a viper.. but not the model... anyway I am looking for something that sounds like this recording does in person most videos have crap sound but this one I like so if yours sounds like this in person (more or less) let me know Last edited by Zokambaa; 18-11-08 at 08:08 AM. |

Not a very good video, but that is a slip-on can not a full system.

Yeah.. it is hard to tell from the video... but I am open to suggestions as to what other pipes sound much the same when staying away from carbon fiber (other than Hindle Supersport systems which I had on my 99 and know is close in sound )
Some people think it is a viper slip on.. but I've not heard slipons sound that good and deep before |

my Art race can is very deep throated but then it has had an inch or two chopped off
![]() Its not a stubby, but it is shorter than a standard art can, its way way deeper than the scorpion stubby on my other bike though. When I heard this bike in the vid it was comparable, but then nobody can tell off a youtube vid, you have to stand there and hear it for yourself...it could be anything TBH.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9kgrqDjNzw it doesn't sound too bad either.... but could be a touch louder.. then again the guy doesn't really open it up much... low idle and blip is not bad though... |

When I posted the original link I really meant it as sort of a way of getting others to tell me what cans they have in person that sound like the recording did.... such as the tonal pitch, deep growl etc.. For example.. my Hindle full supersport system was very similar to that first recording.. granted it may sound totally different in person...... but if someone asked me... hey what other pipes sound like the link... I'd say my Hindle did... |

The Akrapovic on my 650 sounds similar to the first one, but a full system will always sound better than a can in my opinion.
