Default Broken rad mount - will cable ties do?

Just been putting back on the radiator on a 2001 tl s and the bolt on the top of the left of the radiator has snapped in the frame when putting it in. I have tried to get it drilled out, etc just not having it so the question is would a couple of cable ties onto the bottom of the damper bracket be enough? Please help asap!

I have posted this on the tl forum too but need a very quick reply so can get it back together! are cable ties strong enough thats all it seems to hold

Zip ties will do as a part time solution, I have doen this before, but you have make sure they are ziopped up tightly and are not the cheap thin ones.

I would advise you get a torque wrench too, those bolts snap if you over tighten them.

i was just using a tiny wrench have a torque wrench just didnt think to use it, wasnt even tightening that hard and just snapped reckon a weak bolt will use ties then until can fab up bracket from different hole. Cheers for the quick reply

The top two bolts which hold the radiator on, for an SV, are M6 x 25mm.
