Anyone used Hein Gericke online?

They had a special offer on a set of leathers I was after, and I ordered them last week. Four days later, they contacted me to say they were cancelling the order as no stock.

Fair enough, but was a tad annoyed when I checked the site tonight, and they are showing stock of both sizes I want, so I have re-ordered. Just seems a bit rubbish-anyone had problems with them? I'd have thought they'd have emailed disappointed customers saying the stuff was back in, or do they routinely sell sizes they don't have.......

Never used their online service as being lucky enough to live close to the store. Let me know if you still get no joy as the manager in Chester store cant do enough for you, very helpful, ill see if he can source for you direct.

I used them and they were fine.

However, if they tell you that they have no stock, then they have no stock! Websites are sometimes not real time and get updated on a weekly/monthly basis. It is annoying when it happens, but such is life. Maybe a call to the order line will confirm that they have them in stock. Its even mroe annoying when we were searching for a place to live. Estate agents websites are Notoriously bad for being updated. It was 6 months before the place we now rent, came off the website!
