Ok simple idea of whats going on.
Been comunting to london for 4 days now and its been fine. Drive home and come back to it a few hours later today and something is not right. there is now a "woosh woosh woosh" noise as i slow down and gets slower as i slow down. Also the back disc is getting stupidly hot, so i didnt use it for a 15min run and get off the other end to find it hot ...yet again when the front discs were stone cold. help im a machanical numpty. Read pad is also on its way out ( could this be the issue ?? ) thanks brock. |

That'll be the issue. Either worn pads, or piston siezed which would then cause worn pads.
Make sure you sort it soon otherwise you will start seriously scoring the disc. Changing pads is super simple.

have replaced pads and feels 100times better.
But how hot should the rear disc get after only a little use, as i couldnt touch it without burning my hand earlier and that wasnt excessive use. |

if you are still getting a whooosh whooosh sound, it could be a warped disc..
easy to check, raise the rear/front of the bike, spin wheel by hand, feel for any excessive tightening/resistance if there is any excessive resistance at a particular spot then a disc is warped. |

hmmm will check, and going for alignement aswell, but are these the only things that could be making it so hot?

As said could be,
Warped disc on rear, Seized Piston, Seized sliding pin on rear brake. |
