Have bought 2 sets from them. Happy chappy and a tracker on your parts.

Make sure you specify for "S" model SV or you end up with the snappy (response) naked gearing. Noticably lower, nice for the traffic light GP but less adjustment i think due to longer chain.

If he were going to buy the set rather than just the chain, it would come with the extra tooth sprocket anyway. So chain adjustment would not really be an issue.

I'm actually going down a tooth on the front which I'll get separetly from b and c when I buy the chain tool. It still works out a lot cheaper and I'll have a spare 15 tooth front sprocket if the fuel ecopnomy turn out to be more than I can bear.

Are Renthal sprockets not ally and therfore do not last as long as steel? I cover about 20,000 miles a year so lifetime is an issue.

DONT BOTHER! I did and the Renthal sprocket doesnt last very long tbh. its great for racers cos they can just chuck it after a race but for your average road bike its so not worth it. Also the Renthal "set" i bought came with a Tsubaki(sp?) chain anyway so you're only patying for the sticker on the sprocket and a reduced useable life.

The Renthal Sprockets are Hard Anodised Aluminium , once you have worn through the Anodising they wear down at a stupid rate , JT Carbon Steel Sprockets have lasted 22,000 miles for me with my DID X ring chain . I have just replaced it with a Tsubaki Alpha O ring chain and the same sprockets as I don`t think the extra lolly on the DID was actually worth it , but that is something I am trying out as an experiment . I also run a Scottoiler with this system , you can easily double the life of a chain and sprockets with a good Scottoiler setup .

And looking at that kit and that price you can`t go wrong , Carbon Steel Sprockets and a decent Chain . I paid £87 for mine with Tsubaki Alpha and JT Sprox from the dealers .

I would suggest going up two or three on the rear and stay with the 15T. Smaller CS sprockets wear faster. There are 16T and, I believe, 17T sprockets for these bikes if needed.

Cheers
