Hi,

I've fitted both, prefer the acumen one, but currently I have a biketronix one here to fit at some point, got it off ebay for a lot less than either of the others.

I keep meaning to build a proper version of the one I designed....
Maybe if the SV was on the road I would find it easier to find the time...

I've got a GIPro indicator on my Honda. Very easy to fit, simply plugs into a diagnostic socket. It works by comparing the RPM and speed pulses and converting to gear position and reacts very quickly, as soon as the clutch is in. The blurb on it indicates that some bikes ECU indicates gear position in which case these should react even quicker and not require the clutch to be out and the bike moving, can't comment if this is true though.
