Unhappy Carb peeing petrol and running on 1 cylinder

Hi Guys,

just starting my 2001 SV650s after a bit of a lay up

It's not firing on the front cylinder and there's petrol running from the carb overflow pipe.

Looking into the carb there's lots of petrol sitting on top of the butterfly.

Any ideas? or should I just sell it

Gummed up float, clean it out with fresh petrol and it should be fine

I think I've sussed it. Traced it back to the fuel tap. It operates on a vac and is dripping fuel. Just stripped and cleaned it and all is good.

Cheers.
