hi to all
ive searched through this site for months and found loads and loads of tips and advice on owning and looking after ur sv. for a year now my sv has been good 2 me but now shes not charging from the threads ive read id say its da rectifier,shes reading just ova 13 volts off,the same running and same again when ova 5000rpms..... ive read the original recs r dodgy and ive read loads of threads on cbr 600rr ones bein the one 2 go 4,cud anyone tell me which year of cbr and does this require any electric mods(i can swing spanners,screwdrivers etc etc but electrics for me r a no no). oh its a 99 curvy wif 16000mls and so many extras i cant begin 2 list now. ![]() |

Hi there. Do yourself a favour Eddy and drop the text speak because you're more likely to get a response from the more clued up posters if you can make yourself understood in good old properly spelt English that everyone can understand eg. r = are, ova = over, da = the, cud = could, etc. Text speak is quite annoying on a forum such as a motorcycling one, which is generally frequented by adults.
You're not limited to 160 characters per post in this forum, so being economic with the typing isn't an excuse. |
