That's Trace Your Route Everywhere
http://www.janboersma.nl/gett/index.php It's supposed to transfer routes created in Google Maps onto your Tom Tom (or Garmin) But I can't get it to work. ![]() |

Yeah it was that thread that gave me a kick up the butt to go & try it, but then when I couldn't get it to work I didn't want to take over monkey's thread. So hopefully he'll see this to if he knows how to, as opposed to just knowing about it.

Yep, I used it last year, uploaded onto my TomTom one, perfect.
Having said that, I can't remember anything a bout how to use it. Pete ![]()

Go to the route on google maps.
Click link on the right hand side and copy the link. Open up TYRE. File > Import From Website. Paste Link in the address bit. Click Import. Wait for the next window to fully load. Click Import. Save the file to your computer. Then go to TomTom (along the top near where file is). Copy To TomTom. ![]() |

My brother had that SatNav and needed the itinerary planning, I spent alot of time trying to work out a way round and in the end he brought a decent TomTom. The only thing I found was this. http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/module...wtopic&t=59534 Scroll down to the red writing, if you choose to do it and break the SatNav it's nothing to do with me, I'm just passing on the info.

If I can work out how to & be brave enough may well give it a go, but it is frustrating that it shows the route is saved on the device through Tyre, just cant get to it. Thanks anyway, Keith |

Just make sure the device hasn't been updated. When the TomTom left the factory it had all the code and images in place, it was just hidden. The update removes the code and that as far as I can make out.
