Does anyone know of any places to get custom helmet art?
I am wanting just a "black and grey" image that I painted of one of my ferrets on my helmet. |

it's just an unusual first post is all...
have you tried the airbrush places near where you live? just walk in and ask if they'll paint a ferret on your helmet |

Not a first post.
Just first post in a place that counts! I thought that it had to be a certain paint on helmets? |

Depends what helmet, airbrushing and custom graphics on helmets is pretty common. If it is a glassfibre or carbon shell (epoxy resin/gelcoat type thing) it is pretty easy to paint. If it is a polycarbonate shell, more complex. AFAIK.
Ask the people who paint helmets. Personally I think it is bit daft, just adds more cost when you crash, as if it isn't expensive enough already!

Do post up a picture if you get it done. I'd LOVE to see a crash helmet with a ferret painted on it.
Good luck. |

i looked at this awhile back loads of place if you just search on google, but most are quite expensive around £300+ just for a basic design.

Personally, having worn a matt black lid for two years, and not being well-noticed on the road, I'd suggest something brighter, such as a budgie, although if you don't own a budgie, hold them in the same regard as a ferret or haven't painted one, then that would no doubt be the deal clincher.
