Most of those appear to be traffic offences which they have published as being criminal offences such as drink driving? I didn't think that's too bad tbh, they are human after all

Can you imagine the report on the Met, its full of laaaarndoners they are always up to trouble the little scamps

When you read it there are a very small number convicted of serious stuff like perverting the course of justice and the like. They have all been sacked or resigned or are still pending outcome. The rest seem to be petty traffic offences and similar nonsense.A bit of a non story really.

Just a personal experience here, a good many years ago I played football for two seasons for a Police football team. During that time, I never had more access to suspect electrical goods, spirits and fags. Hooky spirits and fags were the most popoular which might explain why the team was rubbish. Anyhow minor offences, but knowlingly committed by our shining beacons of law and order in my example...also they all wanted to get assigned to the miners strike for a punch up. Shows how long ago it was....

Can say that again, when my bro joined in the late eighties, his sargeant used to come round our house while on duty 3 sheets to the wind if you know what i mean.
My bro got caught driving an old banger while a cadet, no mot or tax, got away with it cos he told them who he was .

That said, a lot of the changes have been for the better imo.
