04 SV - Levers for GSXR front end?
Hi everyone I'm brand new to the forums and I have a question for you. I bought my 04 SV a few months back and I wanted to purchase new brake and clutch levers for it so i ordered them online. Then I realized that previous owner put a GSXR front end on it. Well the levers have arrived here and they do not fit, so I was wondering with the GSXR front end do i need to purchase GSXR levers for them to fit?

Take a pic.post it to.the thread. Someone might recognise the master cylinder.

As above really. If the previous owner changed the forks they may well have changed other parts to match. Normally the SV clutch lever would be retained as you simply swop the entire fitting across, but most upgrade the brakes so as NTECUK says you need to identify which master cylinder you have.

I noticed that it was aftermarket from Nissin if that helps any one, heres also a photo of the stock clutch lever on my bike compared to the 04 Sv650 after market lever I purchased

I believe you've got an OE Nissan radial master cylinder on your bike....

And yes that is the master cylinder I have! So does that mean if I wanted to replace the levers on my bike I would need to order aftermarket gixxer levers?
