Convertible roof patch repair?
What the best stuff to patch a convertible roof.
I have an MGF at work that someone has stuck a screwdriver through. It is only a 1cm cut so nothing too drastic. I just want to make it watertight again! Thanks in advance |

I have no idea really.
but 1cm hole , won't super glue do the trick with may be some rubber either side like a puncture repair patch... My 2. Pence worth.

Is it a vinyl roof? If so the only thing that will stick is inner tube repair kit for bicycles

I have a watertight MGF roof in the loft!
Shame your so far away!! Probably an extreme answer for your issue, I heard a big inner tube patch would work depends on how pretty you want it to be tho! |

Wouldn't want to replace anyway as it's in very good condition apart from the screwdriver hole and I intend to sell the car shortly anyway.
