Default Progressive springs

Hi all.

I've done a search on this topic already but am still quite confused on this topic. I need to replace the springs in my forks as they seem to be knackered now. They seem to be sagging and compress completely to the stop when I brake hard, which just doesn't seem right to me. I've spotted some progressive springs for £25. Now from the search Ive done I know everyone seems to prefer the single rate springs, but as I'm on a really tight budget, would I actually regret getting these progressive springs? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yours confusedly.

If they are the ones on ebay then bear in mind that the postage is 12 quid!

Yeah, but its still much cheaper than ohlins or even stock. If it has to be either of these then I'll have to save up, but i wouldn't mind these as long as they won't be really bad.

Btw, if you have a curvy SV, then Northy and Rictus had loads of stock springs a while back.

If you change springs then make sure you change the oils too, preferably 15W or even 20W if you are a bit heavy. Best still, add some cartridge emulators.
