Default Quick help needed!

Bought a BlueFlame Tri Evo at the Ally Pally show, and it was delivered yesterday. But there are no instructions and I've just rung BF to be told that their motorcycle department is closed! Got mates helping to fit tonight...

Anyone got the instructions for fitting to a K4 and can post them up for me - please?!

Thanks

Bradley

I'll have a look in the garage tomorrow for my instructions

I think IIRC correctly you need to cut the exhaust 45mm fron the weld, the 45mm is measure from the weld towards the rear of the bike.

I can take some pictures of the can on my bike if that helps

Default THANKS!

Fizzwheel - ta. 45mm looks right - and I take it it's a case of using silicon sealant on the joins?

If you can take some piccies that would be fantastic. Too cold in the garage tonight so am no doing it till tomorrow.

No You do have to leave it for 24 hours to go off properly though... Don't fit it, then start it up straight away, otherwise it'll all blow out

I didnt use silicone, you dont have to but you do get a better seal and it stops air leaking back into the exhaust if you do, which means that your bike wont pop as bad on the over run when you shut the throttle.

I've got a curvy SV, so I dont know if the fitting instructions will be the same, I'll wheel the bike out the garage and take some pictures for you, I'll need to wash it first as its filthy

Default Thanks!

Hi all - fitted the Evo can. Looks good and really think it makes the running a bit smoother, even with no remap on it.
Taking out the bung tonight for the run home - see what that does!

Cheers for all the help.
