Legal help needed and quick!
My lady has just landed herself a cheeky NIP so does anyone have that letter that gets you off and can you also explain if i need to do anything else in the mean time?

http://www.pepipoo.com/ Look for the stuff about making "PACE" statement, If you have the patience it might work out if they havent closed the loophole. If it was me though and I knew that I was definately speeding, then I'd just take the fine / point. If your going to do the PACE you have to follow the intructions exactly, but it might backfire on you and you'll get in deeper hot water ( possibly )

Has Mrs Ward got a clean license, if so I'd just take the points and fine. I looked at doing a pace a while back when I got quite rightly tugged by camera for 87 in a 70mph.
IMHO its more hassle than its worth. I couldnt be bothered with it. It was my fault I shouldnt have been speeding.

Shes had 5 points in the past but that was over 3 years ago and i think they are removed after 3 aint they? So you reckon not to bother and take the hit?

According to the DVLA website HERE points stay on a licence for 4 years (assuming they were for speeding) but the 'totting up' procedure is over any 3 year period.
