About to fit a fender extender (pick it up tomorrow).
Read that they use screws to attach it the mudguard. That won't be neat. Some people have glued theirs on. Any problems? Has it fallen off? Any recommendations for which plastics glue to use? A. |

I used Sikaflex221 - Black Silicone based adhesive used by the auto industry for re-fixing bumpers & plastics etc - Still going strong on Richie1743's bike

Been meaning to get one.
Know how well araldite etc will handle an occasionaly messed up wheelie / pot holed road? |

I used three small rivets, one at the rear and one either side, looks a nice neat job and guaranteed to stay there.

I used Araldite, and it was still rock solid when I removed it... But Sikaflex would be better.

About a year ago I glued my fender extender on using skiaflex291 that I got from a chandlery who sell through ebay, I think it cost me about £11 for the tube, which was a bit much as i only need a little bit, but now loads of other stuff round my house is stuck together with it
![]() You no how it is, when all you have is a tube of sikaflex everything needs glueing. ![]() en4rab |
