So I fitted a Scottoiler to my K3 this weekend, following a lot of the guides and advice from here. I put the reservoir under the pillion seat, and the delivery tube running under the swingarm using the plastic mounts supplied with liberal amounts of araldite as I was keen to avoid the use of cable ties to keep the swingarm looking tidy.
It was all very easy, and everything went swimmingly for a 120-mile ride yesterday. However this morning I find two of the plastic mounts have come unstuck and the delivery tubing is hanging from the swingarm. So what's the current verdict on the best way to mount the delivery tubing? - Are cable ties inevitable? - Should I use an 8mm bolt and use the bobbin mount and the supplied metal bracket as others have done? - Or should I just cough up for the dual-injector? (it might not oil any better but it sure looks like it mounts better) Etc.. etc.. any tips gratefully received. |

I used to some stuff i got from B & Q. Called EVO stick wet grab and use that to stick some of the clear tubing and the clear plastic mounting blocks to the inside of the swing arm.
Whoever mounted the scotoiler to my SV used a bolt and the metal bracket and the dispenser tube is bolted to swingarm through the bolt hole for a paddock stand bobbin. I also zip tied the deliver tube to the swing arm by putting the zip tie round the bracket that the hugger is bolted to. When the hugger is on it hides the zip tie and the delivery tube. HTH

Fizz, YOU fitted a scotoiler to your bike....im impressed...you have learnt well young skywalker
![]() What fiz said. Take the hugger/chain gaurd off, run the tubing between, get some tiny cable ties, then re mount the hugger/chain gaurd, job done. |

![]() Oh and clear zip ties look better than black ones if you are using them. ( unless your swingarm is black of course )
