has anybody successfully made any of those black things to fill the gaps if you take the grab rail off of a curvy?
cos i have tried ....but they look crap? |

Are you re-fitting the seat, or do you want to put a cowl on?
You can get cowls that have tabs that'll fill the gap. |

I put my grabrail back on (useful for putting luggage on too) - although you can get plastic inserts appartently.

I was going to make some out of leftover bridging fibreglass and filler... But I couldn't be bothered in the end

£19 back then... Still a little hard to justify, but you're not paying £25 for 2 small bits of filler, you're paying £25 for a rear end that doesn't look rubbish

I've used the corrugated tube that you use to keep computer cables tidy (If you have tidy computer cables) Simply cut off a couple of inches and glue it in.
Looks fine, takes 2 mins costs nowt if you've got some spare tube or can acquire a bit from work. Also is flexible, so you can drag your optimate charge lead out through it if you've got a long enough lead.
