Default The new £20 note

I know who Adam Smith is because I live near Kirkcaldy and the local college is named after him....he is known in these parts.

Odd that the next (maybe) prime minister of the UK is also Kirkcaldy too...

Is there a big blank space on the note? That'd be the picture of the invisible hand.

Ah, the raw materials of that joke are good but the finished product is awful.

It's got something to do with the division of labour.
Nothing to do with a split in the Labour Party.
Sorry this is starting to sound like an extension of Northy's joke.

Anyway Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Scotland and Clydesdale Bank produce REAL money, English banks are Promissory notes drawn against the Bank of England's gold reserve (if i remember right (my maths teacher was far right SNP - any further right and he would fall over) and loved bashing them whenever the chance arose).

Besides we have Scots in most of the English government top spots now.

Taking a note from the Jerries, why try to take over by force of arms when the political back door works better.

Anyway aside from hijacking the thread thats all.

There's been enough bloody Englishers on Scottish money, time for a bitta payback.

All you need now is a few Welsh and Irish people on your money and you'd be all set.

Well the Bank of England is the UK's central bank after all and let's not forget it was founded by a Scotsman, William Paterson.
