Question Its Still Stalling On Me.

GOOD DAMM MY 650!
the bike is still cutting out on me, ive pegged it down to when it happens now...
mainly when its cold but say your sat at a red light if you blip the throttle a few times it will sometimes cut out then . .
since ive got my new can on its being doing this, its a full open race can, i get like a sucking noise sometimes from it too. . .

so here is my question . . could this cutting out thing be an issue with the back pressure from my new zaust, as it occasionally cuts out when its warm too in the same sort of situation.
but it will only ever cut out when my clutch is in and i let it out to pull away.

Please someone Help me its doing my head in! lol,

Sounds like your idle speed is set to low! what rpm does it tick over at when warm?

Mine was cutting out at lights when the idle was 1000rpm - upped it to 1300 and no probs...(yet)

From reading the forums, seems that the consensus is 1200-1500rpm - think my suzuki manual specifies either 1200 or 1300 as the idle speed when warm...i'll go check tho.

piece of p*ss to adjust too

good luck

Suzuki manual suggests idle speed of ~1500 rpm, this is what mine is set to (about)

1k rpm isnt enough!

1k rpm is way too low. Mine would probably stall at tick over on that!!

1500rpm on the button for me.
