Default Might be a bit rich/ lack of Power

Hi All I have a bit of a problem I have a K3 SV650s with Yosh can with the baffles in and Nikko G Pack the bike has done 8800 miles and has run fine until now. It feels like it's down on power a bit some of the snap is missing I have also noticed two things , now it might be that they have always been there and that I have not noticed them before but,
1) when the bike is at idol on the side stand the bars judder.
2) If you sniff the ass end on idol it smells a a bit rich ( the bike ass end !).
As I have said these could well have been there before but as we all things when something starts to play up you start to look for faults.any Ideas.
Can I also ask is it worth pulling the baffle out of the Yoshi can, it was fitted as part of an insurance repair and the shop didn't know is it was ok to remove the baffle or not, the bike ran fine with them in.
Thanks for any help on this
Jono

What RPM does your bike tick over at? If it's to low it will make your bars judder while it's on it's side stand! Set it to about 1200 to 1300 RPM when the engine is warm!

Take the G-pack off. They can affect tick over and make the bike run rich as they default the bike into a top gear map which although it removes the retard it will loose the individual gear mapping causing these problems.

The retard is minimal anyway.

Hi thanks for the input so far. From start up the idol speed is a round 2000 RPM this soon drops and sets at around 1100 RPM. I fitted the Gpack around 2000 mile ago and it seamed fine but I might try to take it off now to see how it runs without it.
I changed the plugs this morning and they looked good gap was fine and the looked dry, colour wise I would say they looked a little bit rich.
I'm going to fill up with some 98 Ron next week and give it a long hard run to see what that does.
