Default Fuel Prices

What do you guys pay then? I'm looking about nowadays for 95.9p per litre as the best one for me. I remember back in the day when i used to go with dad to the petrol station and prices were 86 point summit lol. Are prices varying in other places is the main reason for this. Anyone know about France also, what sort of prices are there?

I remember when it was about £1.30 a gallon when I first started driving.... many moons ago.
I was able to fill up my Ford Capri 2.0litre v6 (German Spec) for £15... Arrr great days now gone forever.

Just back from France, where I paid €1.06 (that's 71p at today's exchange rate) at the hypermarket in Calais for a litre of diesel. I didn't look at petrol prices that closely but IIRC it was maybe slightly less.

I pay 93.9p at the moment, I remember when it was 50p or thereabouts a litre when I first started driving.

If you want cheap fuel you need to live in Dubai, one of my friends left uni to work there, earns enough money tax free to buy a 350Z, and petrol is cheaper by the litre than water, I think he said its 11p a litre

93.9p currently. I swore I would give up when it went over £1/gallon.

When I started I think I was paying about 55p/gallon.

Side issue. WTF do they price in litres. Is it simply marketing as they are scared we will not fill up if we were concious of the real price. Nobody uses these metric measures.

I buy my beer in pints, my midget gems by the quarter and my wood by the yard. Apart from petrol which I buy by the tankful and pay in limbs

Since owning my 2.0 Corsa for the last 7 years...

Well...

Used to cost me £26 to fill up. As of 2 years ago, it was costing me £37-£38.....

I also remember going jetskiing and the fuel costing 46.9....... (think that MAY have been per gallon and not per litre too?)

Nothing wrong with using the litre as a unit - I have a 17 litre tank, i know that if im putting in 11 litres of petrol when the light comes on (or something like that) how much i would have left. Therefore, I can calculate how much further I can possibly go on the remaining 6 litres (or so)

I dont get gallons and fluid ounces and stuff
