Default How to invalidate your warranty

I read on VD today(i have no reason to believe that the bloke is talking bo***cks) that if you take a Suzuki on a trackday, then it invalidates the warranty.

Seems silly really, but i've got a Yamaha.

But how would they know unless you told them?

I like the way FB's opinion gets treated as being no better than Joe Idiot Public despite being a Suzuki dealer 8 pages of waffle. If you want to resolve the question, read your warranty, end of. If this genuinely is Suzuki's warranty terms, it's potentially the worst PR mistake they've ever made... But to be honest I doubt it.

i think what they mean is, if you admit to being on a track day, it invalidates the warrantly

Thats odd, what if you bought a K6 Sport that was sold with Trackday insurance if you spent some extra cash... how's that work ?

Having only posted 6 posts myself on VisorDown, I'm not liking it already! At least 75% of the people on there are absolute idiots! And not in a n00b way, but in a plain arrogant way! Luckily, at least there is the odd one or two that have some knowledge about them.

Back on topic... It would seem a bit daft for a track-day to invalidate your warranty, even if you were insured for it.

Yes, I feel the same way about VD. It seems to be the reverse of the .Org, rather than a small number of contrary, antagonistic ****holes, spoiling for textual fight, it seems that is the default position there and the civil and courteous are the minority.

I like Visordown, it's very different from here though... This place is a community, like a wee village, quite insular maybe but cosy. Visordown's Birmingham
