Mate, dont worry about that, the guys who wanna go fast can, the guys who dont wont, simple.
We wont lose anybody and no one will expect you to ride quicker than you feel comfortable, cos thats the recipe for a spill :(

Is there a link to the meeting place?

I hope not to be too slow. Maybe for you Binky though but you can just play catchup through the pack.
I am slower on my hyper I think. Tomorrow would be the first rideout I've done on it really so will give me a better idea.
It's mainly the suspension that's the problem but I'll get over it.
Looking forward to tomorrow guys.

Anyhoo, hope you all got back safe and it was nice to meet some of you again and see some new people! :)

Oh, Chris why did you tell me to go straight on when we got to MH?
My satnav and my spidy sense was saying turn left at those temp traffic lights, we wanted to go the A14 route which involved going down the A508, ended up turning round after a mile or so and following my satnav ;)

Christian, no need to worry about your pace mate, you kept up no trouble.

Did'nt realise I was was gonna be 2nd man until the last minute due to us all bunching up at the junction. If i'd have thought ahead I'd have stopped outside Melton and waited for you as the the road layout is a bit complicated

Definitely apologise about the sparkies. Only big ghey fags have sparky knee sliders. Honestly, swap them, soon. :pukel: :D

Definitely don't worry about holding us up. You're way quicker than i remember on your SV, probably just popping wheelies due to boredom behind us now... ;)

Specialone
24-05-11, 10:10 AM
My rear brake isn't good either, I do use mine tbh, I locked up a tiny amount on saturday while meant over [-o<.
I comfort brake sometimes, especially on tight corners, I did this while going round a tight right hand downhill corner but it slid on me a touch.
Not sure it was me braking too much or my new tyres, never happened before on my 020's to be fair.
I wasn't as smooth as I was when I rode these same roads a few weeks ago, felt like I could handle any corner reasonably well then, Saturday, a couple of them I could've handled them better as my approach was all wrong I think.

Bugger getting back on time Russ. I find the extra few hours riding is well worth putting up with the mood that follows for the next 48 hours. Especially if its a Sunday, sunday night I'm always asleep on the sofa as soon as I get home, Monday daytime shes at work, Monday evening I'm in the garage cleaning the bike, tuesday daytime ditto, tuesday night in my office surfing the org, and by Wednesday shes got lonely, realised she loves me and he misses the company, and shes snapped out of it.

Tell her youll be back at lunchtime, and rock up home at 6pm, just make sure youve been to Mcd's on the way home cos dinner will be in the dog.
