Was rammed at the end of a pursuit a few years ago. My cop car needed an entire front end. I had pretty bad whiplash, but it went.
Then, whilst on hols it came back from carrying rucsacs, beach bags, messing around in the sea with the kids and so on.
Couldn't move my head at all, MASSIVE headaches, the lot.

Morning all (well Andrew/Q/Viney - as you're the only ones that tend to be in here).
I can (happily) report that the solution posted previously for getting oil out of a carpet, actually worked! Brake cleaner FTW!
I am not no longer in the bad books (for that particular misdemeanour).
Result!

Probably :(
Karma Nobby? Doubt it, if it was, something good should happen!
that for spilling oil on the carpet though not for getting it out
andrewsmith
16-08-11, 11:58 AM
ce Q?
Karma for Nobby - he was saying it should be something good. but the karme is bad because he spilt oil on the carpet in the first place
Nobbylad
16-08-11, 01:08 PM
But I only got oil on the carpet 'cos I was doing a good deed for someone else.
Plus, I got the oil out and learned a valuable tip for removing oil from a carpet, which I shared with Nobbylass and you guys!
Surely something good should come out of all of this? Instead, I lose half a tooth and probably the best part of a couple of hundred quid if I want to put something back in its place (something that isn't a wadge of cheap metal that is).
See its not 'only' It a lesson thats teaching you to put a dust sheet down.
but you do have my sympathy for the tooth - i've got a bridge and cap. ( it didn't cost me that much though)
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) )))))))))))))))))))

Oooh...yes please! I did look at their website and was about to sign up for a bi-weekly supply of their healthiest box, but realised I'm in Landarn Tarn for a few days next week, so will have to wait until the week after.
If you don't mind PM'ing the code, that would be ace!

I have just ordered my 1st deliveries, Tuesday and Thursday (week after next), as they're the days I train.
They look yum and take the hassle out of buying bags and bags of stuff from health food shops. Plus using IB's code, I get the 1st box free and the next half price - so 2 x boxes for £1.49!
must admit if I was working i might be tempted to order from there

Morning people :)
Good run in today (apart from the idiot on the horse sitting in Lane 1 at the bottom of Park Lane trying to stop traffic, not much chance of stopping a bike when its leaned over mate... (almost a 180 righthander...)
As for Graze - had an interview with them last year, been using them for much longer.
Been ages since i borught the bike to work. But it was good despite being stuck behind a JCB a lot of the way!
Hmm Graze - got graze coming to work tmw hmmmmmm

Nah I wish - i need to have a vehicle available to me and noramlly carrying boxes so car it is. BUT half day today to go to meeting with the local milkbank.
