Isle of Mull, Galleon Gold blond ale. i must say its rather nice, sweet with a slight maltyness and no bad bittering after taste due to over hopping. a bit too sweet TBH. very very easy to drink.

Awh man, I could just go for a nice mojito now after seeing that Tam.
On Diet coke with Cherry, not nearly as nice as pepsi max cherry but it was all I had left.
Jura tasters were nice the other night, liked the superstition but think my favourite was Diurach's Own.

Yeah, Barbados...
I tried the cheaper end of the range and wasn't impressed, no doubt it's nicer the more money you spend...the best cheap rum for me by a long way is Havana Club 7...and if mixing with Coke it's Brugal Anejo Rum (Dominican Republic)...but we all have different tastes
Those fake ice cubes sound like a great idea!

I sometimes get bought a bottle of that over from the Caribbean by a West Indian photographer friend. I don't normally drink spirits but this stuff is delicious with some ginger beer and a squeeze of lime.

When I was in Fiji we used to soak fruit in the overproofed rum made there, from new year to the following Christmas, to make some very potent pud! I stopped drinking that stuff after loosing too many brain cells and not remembering what I did the night before...evil stuff: http://www.rumgallery.com/bounty-fiji.html

Do it!
lol, I am tempted to get a nice aluminium barrel from somewhere and start using a little CO2 :) But before I do I need to learn to make Belgian style beer from raw ingredients....not something I've found out about as yet...it's not all that easy to get right from what little I've heard and why the kits are expensive in comparison to normal ale kits I think
Standard ales are alright but I've been spoilt with the Belgian beer kits, they are superb IMHO! The hardest thing is leaving the bottles alone long enough for the beer to get to it's best...

I helped at an event sponsored by Tiptree preserves and as a thank you they gave me a hamper which included borage honey. I don't really eat honey though I cook with it so next time Stu did a home brew we replaced the sugar drops in about a third of the bottles with a teaspoon of this honey. It made for a pleasantly tasting beer. The honey flavour was subtle but definitely there.

it's like an even better version of cherry coke. I've taken to drinking Dr Pepper since trying the cherry one but the cherry is still best.
Worth a try if you can find it (assuming you like cherry coke and such)

Mmmm... Koppaberg strawberry and lime.
Sent via the medium of interpretive dance.
Small glass: shot of reposado tequila, splash of triple sec, agave nectar, lime squirts. Stir to mix well, fill with ice cubes, wait a while. Makes a nice low glycemic index margarita. Salt on the rim optional of course - use agave nectar to make it stick.

I have to agree with that, I will never have more than one with my parents, apart from once a year we go to a mad Christmas party where my dad gets drunk and I will have a few once he is too drunk to notice.
