it was a last minute thing today- i had a meet and it cancelled- so I thght oo lets go..

was only 2 hrs 30 mins there n back with thtes top for piccies...


the bloke there bombs around on a little quad!!

pub has unusual opening times.. !..

in here I have taken some of the main turn offs from the A5... so will pop them up.

I will post in a min a pic of hte pub - for recognition.. and the pics I took of the turn off from the A5.. i just think it is a nice feeling espesh if you have ridden a long way to see somehting that looks "familiar"- or at least you have seen it ona piccy ... then you can relax cos u know ur there...
I know it aint difficult its off the A5 so its a left turn from welsh side to Shresbury and a right turn fromShrewsbury to oswestry .. and its well signposted as Montford bridge.. and funnilly enough you turn off the A5 go over the bridge and there ur !!... on the right ..

SO IF YOU APPROACH FROM SHREWSBURY SIDE ITS EASY-- JUST A5 SIGNED TO OSWESTRY AND AFTER YOU PASS OVER THE RIVER SEVERN YOU TURN RIGHT FOR MONTFORD BRIDGE JUST AFTER YOU GO UNDER A BRIDGE- AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PIC ABOVE- YOU WILL BE COMING TOWARD THE CAMERA IF YOU COME FROM SHREWSBURY DIRECTION.- WELL SIGNPOSTED..[/color]

SHE SAYS ITS FINE TO TAKE BIKES ON THE FIELD.. HONEST THERE IS EVEN ENOUGH SPACE FOR 40 TENTS AND BIKES !.....

Thanks for the photos. I took a couple of the pub the other night but these are much better.

The views leading to the pub are very useful. I'm sure they'll help people locate the place.

BUT--

after a long and arduous journey and one is tired and relaxing because you htink you are nearly there-- mistakes can be made that could cost you another 20 mins..

I think maybe seeing the image and then seeing it for real on Friday will help..

when i have finished watching france whupp the cheats I might post the others- they are of the site and river and the actual field we are in.. but liekI say will put in photos with a warning.. ... in case u dont wanna see until u get there..

Just a quick comment. Coming in off the A5 is a NSL, soon goes to a 30 and there is sometimes a mobile camera van in MB :( It's not far from the NSL to the pub though, only half a mile I guess. So behave :lol:
