Definately one of the bestest biking days of my life. Ranks up there with passing my test, hitting the ton for the first time and my first wheelie! Thanks to everyone who made it, thanks to Sarah for organising it and for introducing me to some new roads around my favourite ride out area. When's the next one?

i was just thinking when to have the next one. i'll start a new thread soon...

maybe the same place for brekkie and then down to the coast somewhere?

The only slightly scary part was when I brushed my slider up against a drystone wall........cut that corner a bit too much then!

I was so pooped when I got hom that I fell asleep for about 3 hours. I'ms still in awe of how good it was, that many bikes and all went smoothly.

Hello everyone!

Smashing day, it was so nice to be able to rate everyone's bottoms. I have my favorites.

Thanks for having me, I was so exhausted when I got home, but I still managed to go out dancing last night, must have been all the adrenaline!

Well done Sarah, DD, Viney, JonToms and all the other helpful people.

Oh, and Rubber Duck, you’re leathers were very flattering…

It's the only real reason Rictus made it out with us, although I think you may be looking for slightly different attributes ;)

I was behind you for a fair bit of the way back on my GSXR, your bike looks good! :-)

Yep, I think you almost witnessed me hitting that wall! Doh!

Your bike is rather sweet as well, goes like stink!

Looks like you have a fan (anything to take to heat off me!):smt045

Nice avatar bluesteel.

We could meld/splice this rideout with the one we did last year to Wittering.

Brekkie run, A272, road down to seaside. etc

Yer and this time we'll go to West wittering instead of East Wittering as West Wittering has the sandy beach and East has the stones!

When I have some time ill try and put something together.

And NOT an 8AM Start.

i didnt see any advantage to starting at that time what so ever. The traffic was still a pain, and it doesnt finish any earlier, well may be an hour or so.

We set off nearer 9 and we had very long breaks (which were nice and relaxing).

But a later start would be nice, although I work weekend evenings so long rideouts might mean cutting it a bit fine for me.

Thanks for organising Sarah,

the Ride down to the chalet was like a slow speed convoy though, no wonder Mark passed us on the scoot! The only problem with really big rideouts is you can spend a lot of time queued up for the overtakes. So we split off after breakfast did a slightly different route, but made it back meet up with you lot for icecream.

the Ride down to the chalet was like a slow speed convoy though, no wonder Mark passed us on the scoot!

that was due to a very very slow horse box and no spaces for overtaking until the dual carriageway part.

I prefer a ride to a destination, there for an hour or two, then ride back.

Cheers Dan. Im not realy easy to forget you know!

I think the problem was I could not put your face to the bike.....I ended up talkign to lots of people but not really knowing who they were or what they were riding.....except Rictus. No one could forget him!

I woke up sunday morning thinking what the hell am i doing getting up at 6.30 on a Sunday??? but once i was up and squeezed into my leathers and on the bike i was fine :) i think Lee has hit the proverbial Nail here.

James and I had loads of fun and it really was good to be on the bike, i'd forgotten how much i enjoy riding as i was only commuting on her and never really got out or had the confidance to go for a blat after work on my own.

Then we went home to pick up Lupo, poor boy was sitting there with his legs crossed, and drove him and Rictus to the pub which was a fantastic way to end the day, just relaxing and talking about "stuff" with some good company :).

Once Again Sarah.... Well done for a fantastic route :D

I'm just tiny :(

My SV is the same height as Sam's. We sat each other's bikes to compare.

Early morning start was fine once I set off, (apart not being able to see through my visor due to the dense mist).

Thank you Sarah. You found your calling, GM rideout planner. :D

I recon i could get mine lower by scooping out my already lowered seat :p but actual shortness of bike i think the sv will not go any lower without feeling crappy and becomming a cruiser ;)

Posted up loads of photos now.

It was great, nice to see Mark out on his scooter and overtaking everyone.

Pub was cool afterwards when everyone eventually found it.

Great pictures LAW. They capture the spirit of the day perfectly. None of me though? I was hoping for a picture for a new avatar maybe I'm not photogenic enough!!:smt089

Hopefully eviltwin will have a good roundabout shot of me

hahaha some interesting and funny photos there. What about the pics you hubby took on a roundabout somewhere ????

Not sure about the shot of me eating an ice creme, i look a bit weird, like my head is over streached :smt102

Funniest thing about the day was the 2 fingered salute pigbunk gave me as i let him past after marking a roundabout.... he did say he didn't mean too but i just nodded as he is one harcore massive man mountain. Bugger arguing with him;)or supervox (but they are really nice guy's)

Note: BlueSteel you really need to eat something, i thought i was skinny:roll:
and buy some proper bike gear dude :) i'm worried about you hurting those good looks ;)

I liked it when PigBunk effortlessly popped his legs up onto his crashbars and rode along at ease... when he reached down and changed gear with his hand, now that was something else!

JonToms, I'm actually going for the heroin chic look, and besides, my international modelling contract stipulates only 1 meal a day, and after feasting my eyes on Sv_dan and RDOD I was brimming... :D

I can't be faffed with all the proper gear, I'm one of those young, irresponsible people you read so much about in the Mirror. I care only for myself, and anyway they don't make leathers in rainbow...

Cheers Sarah, having a closer look at your photo's there's one off my left Sidi boot in picture 16! but.......just in case you have a slightly better one.:smt081

My bike was a silver K3 with lowers. I was wearing silver/black Dainese leathers with an AGV lid and black visor. If you look and you have one of me with my elbow down round one of the roundabouts that wood be great.

You should put the brakes on,... oh no, wait, you don't have any.
