Re: Linear or progressive front springs?

Re: Pothole damage
I was recommended Motoliner by someone on an SV Facebook group. I reported the pothole online via their website & they advised me to call them as it was deemed dangerous. It is big enough to be... |

Re: Pothole damage
Got lots of piccys just after it happened but couldn't get measurements as it's a busy A-road with loads of traffic. I know what they are like, they'll have had a crew out to fling some tarmac in... |

Pothole damage
Hi, I managed to hit a huge pothole on the way to work this morning. It's dented the rim on one side as I was steering around a smaller one so was tipped over a bit. I have reported it to council... |

Re: Your Favourite All-Weather Tyres for the SV ?
I've managed a whole years riding both wet & dry on Pirelli Angel ST's. Probably not the best wet or dry and a fairly mid price / budget tyre too. However when the bike is ridden to reflect the... |

Re: Smallish Day Bags
I use a Kriega US20 as a tail bag for my work stuff, lunch etc. I also have the Kriega tank adapter for when the wife is on the back. |

Re: Brakes still soft after rebuild
Thanks for the help, fingers crossed but I now have something resembling brakes. I stripped each caliper down again, all was as it should be so back to bleeding again. I ended up pressure bleeding... |

Re: Brakes still soft after rebuild
Hi Bibio I cleaned the recesses thoroughly before fitting the new seals. The inner ones were a lot cleaner than the outer dust seal recesses and neither particularly corroded. The new seals did... |

Re: Brakes still soft after rebuild
Hi, rather than start yet another brake thread I'll join in this one! My K3 is driving me crazy with poor brakes, even my wife's CBF125 stops better! I have exactly the same symptoms as the O/P -... |

Re: Pointy won't turn off!
Just to bring the thread to a close, a new starter relay & all is back to normal. Thanks to those who confirmed what I suspected. |

Re: Pointy won't turn off!
Fen Tiger, she's just turned 24K miles. I've no idea what the lifespan of the relay should be but mine has done 14 years. I guess it depends how many times the bike is started as much as anything... |

Re: Pointy won't turn off!
A small update - today I rode to work and made 3 or 4 stops & starts no problem. At home time i started her up but could hear a whirring over the normal engine noise. I had no choice but to ride 15... |

Pointy won't turn off!
I've just had a rather scarey moment, luckily at work, where my K3 wouldn't turn off. I took the key out but the starter was turning the engine over constantly. The kill switch did nothing and I... |

Re: SV650 Factory Toolkit vs. What?
Without meaning to hijack the thread, does anyone know where I can get the extension bit for the spanners (no 4 in pic)? I managed to get a new shock C spanner but only see full kits on Fleabay. Ta |

Re: TPS Adjustment Step-by-Step Pictorial Guide
I had a go adjusting my 2003 pointy today. Much smoother at low revs , especially (as has been said by others) mini roundabouts. Mine was not cutting in until just over 4k but managed to get it down... |

Re: Hi from North Herts
It's much better now they have a bypass, straight through to the A1 missing those horrific traffic lights. |

Hi from North Herts
Hi from North Herts! I've just got my first "real" bike after 18 months on a 125. She's a totally standard 2003 S. Look forward to maybe spotting some of you guys when I'm out & about. |
