Default Loose tail unit.

sv650x - noticed the tail was a bit loose on the left hand side so had a look under the seat cowling.

Haynes manual says first step for removing the seat cowling is to remove two screws as per above. Neither were there.

This looks to be the main problem - anyone know what's supposed to be there?

Lastly, does any of this need to be worried about? Thanks!

Only a bit of rust, mines similar, can take it off and get powdercoated if it really bothers you

Mine was like that too no problem structurally but I took it down to the powdercoaters who sorted it and the torque arm out for only £40.

Thanks both. Was only worried if it was structural - will maybe do something about it after summer.
