Default Scary Sand

This was taken by a friend of a friend of mine in Texas. My friend was ok, it had calmed a bit by the time it reached his house in San Angelo...but his friend had three windows blown out of her truck and there were a fair few trailers blown over.

I just thought this was an awesome picture and worth sharing...yes, I have permission!

Been through a much smaller one of these on a bike.
We had to turn the bikes off to keep dirt from stopping up the airbox and hold our breath as the cloud of dust covered us. But only lasted a couple of minutes.

Why anyone would choose to live in a dried up desert is beyond me.

had one of these in egypt on a nile cruise.. smaller scale but scary
