Just buy a basic scottoiler, does the same job. And forget the pressure sensors.

Holy cow, £200 for a chain oiler! I am in shock.

I use a Tutoro, which cost only £50. I love the simplicity of these units and the guy who designs and makes them is a lovely lad.

I am not sure that I can see the value of constantly monitoring the tyre pressure, a pre ride check is surely all you need? If you get a flat it is really rather obvious. I was carrying a pillion last time I blew a tyre thanks to a wood screw I picked up on the road. The time before that a bolt came out of speed ramp at Gordano Services in Bristol and holed my rear tyre, I was again carrying a pillion. Each time it went flat in seconds.

as Guru says, just get the Vsystem oiler.

i think the novelty would wear off with the tyre monitors.

If you just want to be able to quickly look and see that your pressures are within an acceptable limit then THESE might be of use.

scottoiler without a doubt, less fuss about positioning etc.etc. once fitted they do what they do and do it for years on end.

I have OE TPMS.
Handy but not essential.
Scott if you are liable to keep the bike for more than a year.
Tiny bit of cutting into the bikes system against Turtto sitting the resivor vertical and then being able to fill it

I wasn't bothered about mine when I got my explorer but I must say i do like the fact they warn you when they are at a preset low.

My tutoro took about five minutes to fit and is mounted on the swing arm just infront of my hugger. There are no modifications to the bike systems to make and I fill it easily with a small oil can I got from the pound shop.

The Tutoro was made in Gloucestershire by a guy called Jude and he has invited us up to the work shop for a cuppa, so he gets my vote.
