Default rattling noise

my bike is making a rattling noise, kninda like a loud clicking. apparently it is not the FI. and my brother seems to think its only doing it since this morning. when it spilled it oil all over the back tyre.

so it was ridden about 1 - 2 miles with not much oil left. i didnt know this at the time btw, just wondering why no grip.

any ideas? it is coming from the engine area. not the exhaust or whatever. my bike is a K3

i cannot compare it to before as i only started riding it today. but andy's sv doesnt do this (but it is the curvy)

thanks
Paul - currently having his easter weekend ruined.

Check that one of your breather hoses has not come off the rattling could be you cam chain tensioners.

The breather hoses run from yur crankcase to your air box on a curvey they are on the left hand sideunder the tank. Camchain tensioners on curveys are prone to fail and make the chain rattle they are situated on the barrols. If the noise has only just started I wouldn't worry to much mine did it for about 6 months before I got it fixed!!!!

also the noise only happens when the throttle is opened up (or at least that is when you can hear it)

and it is very loud
