Well I have given up with it, and personally I think it is shi&e. Here is the mail I have sent back to scotoiler detailing my issues with the bloody thing. My advice to anyone with an SV who is thinking of these then don't bother,
Hello, I bought a V system and dual feeder from you on the 09.04.2010 on order number 13822. However the dual feeder has never worked correctly. Basically the lower nib is draining when the bike is parked up and when I use the bike again the following day it is air locked and will only feed through one nib (the higher of the 2). I left a message on the forum to which Rory replied asking me to send it back, however because this would have meant stripping the whole thing off the bike I ordered another dual feed applicator on 14.06.2010 on order number 14463. When I fitted the second one I did so exactly has Rory advised me on the forum. The nibs weren't facing down etc. However to my disappointment the second applicator has exactly the same fault. There is obviously something fundamentally wrong with the system stopping it working on my SV650. The only way to get it working is by priming the system before every use. This is clearly not practical. I have therefore had to buy even more parts to revert back to the single applicator on the 18.06.2010 on order number 14505. I now have 2 very useless dual applicators. I am sure you can appreciate that I am very frustrated with this as I had a V System and single nib on my old bike and it worked perfectly. I just don't think the dual nib is any use on the Suzuki SV650. Could you please tell what you intend to address this issue, as it has left me out of pocket and frustrated with the whole dual applicator thing, Many Thanks, Dan Fieldhouse York |

Oh dear.
Just to clarify - are you now reusing your original single tube? If yes, is this working correctly or do you have a problem with the Scottoiler itself?

tbh i think the dual applicator is a bit of a gimmick, i had a single nozzle on a gs500 an it worked well enough for me, it just seems like another way to make a little more money for them

I think that's a little harsh, I don't think Scottoiler are trying to con anyone, simply there is a common misconception that a single delivery tube will only 'oil one side of the chain', the dual oiler was introduced to persuade people who don't understand that only one feed is all that is needed and wouldn't use an oiler because of that.

To clarify, the issue is with the dual injector unit. I am reusing the single injector set up that comes with the original boxed unit. |

While the only problem being it doesn't work properly. It drains the lower nib while on the side stand just enough the cause it to air lock and need re-priming before use. The higher nib works fine. I would encourage any other users of the dual nib to check theirs also. |

So you end up with one half of the dual injector airlocked which means only one works?
Seems like it is working fine to convince people who don't know what they're on about while doing exactly the same job as single injector.

i dont think theyr trying to con anyone, i just think that most of the time a single nozzle is adequate for what people want and that the dual nozzle isnt really needed
