Possibly fit a small pair of mole grips in there to clamp around it and turn?

If you have a welder or know someone that does welding then weld a bolt on it to undo.

You can always tap a torx bit into them and that is normally good enough to get them out.

I gotta say from the work i've done so far to my 3month old Sv i'm not impressed with the bolts/nuts/threads at all. My '98 Gpz 500 has 100x better quality bolts.nuts/threads and MUCH thicker paint!!!

I couldn't tap a torx bit in, no room to get at it.. So mole grips were best bet
It's now got a stainless steel Allen bolt in it as my best mate is an engineer so just had one of them

And if you don't think the paint or quality is good.. Get something different or re-paint it and change every nut and bolt..?

So far I've done very little mechanical things to mine but I think it's fine.. Everything is fiddly but as a work on Volkswagens day in day out I wouldn't say it's and worse.

It made to be a cheap bike so no complaints really
